Founder & Lead Trainer
Mike Hill, a Cincinnati native and distinguished basketball coach, is the head varsity coach for Hughes High School boys basketball. A former collegiate player at Cincinnati Christian University, Mike founded The Hill Effect to nurture young athletes' talent and discipline. With over a decade of elite coaching experience, he leads the MR22 ELITE AAU team on the Adidas Circuit and has coached the top-ranked Edmond Sumner Select on the Nike Circuit. He also founded the successful Nati Elite AAU program, training over 1,000 young athletes from the southwest region. Mike's coaching emphasizes hard work, discipline, and personal growth. Coach Marlon Hill, Vice President of Nati Elite Basketball AAU Program and Head Coach of the successful 3rd-grade elite team, currently leads the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Team at Hughes High School. With a deep dedication to training and coaching, Coach Hill emphasizes building character and developing future leaders on and off the court. His strategic expertise in basketball, honed through years of experience, focuses on individualized skill development, physical conditioning, and mental toughness. Coach Hill's commitment to fostering both athletic excellence and personal growth makes him an outstanding mentor, inspiring young athletes to reach their full potential.
